Rebecca M. Hamburg Named to Executive Board of National Employment Lawyers Association

At its June 2008 meeting following its Annual Convention in Atlanta, GA, the Executive Board of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA), which advances employee rights and serves lawyers who advocate for equality and justice in the American workplace, appointed Rebecca M. Hamburg of SDSHH to the NELA Executive Board.

Ms. Hamburg joined SDSHH in April 2008. She focuses her law practice in representing individual plaintiffs in employment rights litigation, including racial and sexual harassment and discrimination cases, under both state and federal law as well as wage & hour violations. She previously worked with the law firms of Berger & Montague, P.C., in Philadelphia, PA where she litigated Title VII class actions on behalf of employees around the country, and Gebhardt & Associates, LLP, in Washington, DC where her practice focused on representing federal executive and legislative branch employees at both the administrative level and in federal court.
