SDSHH partner Paul Hoffman has joined forces with the Natural Resources Defense Fund (NRDC) in challenging the importation of mahogany from Peru into the U.S. in violation of the Endangered Species Act and international law. The mahogany is an endangered resource and its continued importation into the United States is causing environmental damage in Peru and is leading to the depletion of the resource for future generations. The case was filed in the U.S. Court of International Trade in Washington, D.C.
